Dee Galloway~Dances With Words

This is my personal site, where I promote myself as a performing poet. Here, the challenge was to create a “wordy” site that is also visually appealing. The surrounding “white space” keeps the words from overwhelming the viewer, while the neutral colors & fonts reflect the serious play of writing. Laramie Cattle Company

The logo and website design is based on the custom leather portfolios carried by the company’s partners that are emblazoned with the “Rockin’ LC” used to brand their cattle. The Spirituals Project

As a volunteer graphic designer of many years for this beloved organization, when they put me on staff, the first order of business was to update the tired early 90s website design. Changing it to a Joomla site and simplifying the navigation has done wonders to increase the overall traffic on the site, resulting in more requests for bookings and permissions to quote from the educational and historical content.
